Letters to Brother Theo

A special person in the life of the great Vincent van Gogh was his brother Theodorus. Throughout his life, he provided moral and financial support to Vincent in his desire to become an artist. The correspondence between the brothers lasted almost 18 years. These letters-revelations, collected together, represent an incomparable human document: they open the door to the world of this brilliant madman, revealing not only the path of his development, but also showing how a new language of painting was created, which had a timeless influence on the art of the 20th century.
