Freud and psychoanalysis

Carl Gustav Jung (1875–1961) was a Swiss psychologist, psychotherapist, philosopher, sociologist and cultural scientist, one of the most outstanding scientists of the 20th century, a student of Sigmund Freud, the founder of analytical psychology and psychotherapy, and the founder and president of the Swiss Society of Practical Psychology. This publication includes Jung's works on Sigmund Freud and psychoanalysis, written by him in the period 1906–1916 and reflecting the evolution of his views on Freud's teachings: from enthusiastic interest and a desire for close cooperation to gradual distancing and the development of his own original theory.
