Dickens's Christmas Tales: Visions and Fantasies of Uncle Scrooge

The good genius of Christmas is the deity of English families. Dickens revived the traditions of this wonderful holiday in his Christmas tales. Dickens is one of the few Western writers who managed to embody in his work the world of Christian values, a world living according to the Gospel commandments, where good and evil are measured not by social laws, but by the faith of Christ.
