The book's main character, a wise octopus, has long been familiar with the human world: over many centuries, a whole museum of human inventions has formed on the seabed. Office chairs, vacuum cleaners, mobile phones, fishing nets, magazines and credit cards - all this arouses her interest. The octopus dreams of getting to know people better and unraveling all the mysteries of the human species. Going to a concert. Trying avocado toast. And, most importantly, understanding what true friendship is. About the author: Magdalena Rutova - born in 1988 in the Czech Republic, graduated from the Faculty of Illustration and Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Prague. Draws portraits, creates linocuts, illustrates children's books. The book "I, Octopussy" in 2024 was awarded a special mention at the International Children's Book Fair in Bologna.
