Around the World in 80 Days

The famous French writer Jules Verne created a new direction in literature - science fiction and predicted in his works space flights, the invention of the airplane, television and many other discoveries. "Around the World in Eighty Days" is a fascinating novel about the journey around the world of the Englishman Phileas Fogg and Jean Passepartout, made as a result of a bet. In order to win and go around the globe in 80 days, they had to experience dangerous and incredible adventures, visit different continents and many countries. This exciting adventure novel is inextricably linked with its era. The world is on the verge of an industrial revolution. New geographical routes, discoveries of the railway and the steam engine made it possible to reduce the distances between cities and countries. In January 2022, the British series Around the World in 80 Days was released, starring David Tennant as Phileas Fogg. The series was renewed for a second season even before the premiere of the first season.
