Cognata

Alexey Salnikov, the famous author of the novels "The Petrovs in and Around the Flu" and "The Department", has released a new work - "Cognata" in the series "To be continued: Yandex Books & RESH". The novel presents an alternative universe where people coexist with dragons, and the conflict between them has entered a phase of cold neutrality thanks to a protective screen - the Mirror. The main character, state security officer Konstantin Konstantinovich Konstantinov, a former military man, is engaged in returning the dragon girl Cognata back to her family. The novel is filled with references to Soviet culture and contains elements of modern realism, despite the fairy-tale motifs. The book also has a bonus section dedicated to Konstantin's childhood and youth. The digital version of the novel is planned for release simultaneously with the printed version.
