Noon in the room

For the first time since the death of Joseph Brodsky (1940-1996), three books of his selected poems are being published: "Night Flight", "Noon in the Room" and "View from the Hill". The subjective choice of their compiler is, first of all, the choice of an attentive and demanding reader, an attempt to build a personal "Brodsky canon" and comprehend each part of it in a short afterword. The book "Noon in the Room" includes poems from 1972-1986, including those not included by the author in collections published by the famous American publishing house "Ardis" and which became the classic legacy of the great poet.
